Battlestar Galactica Viper Patchby ~talos56

One of the projects I've been working on is a Y-Wing from Star Wars, fully detailed and treated like any aircraft profile, while being reasonably accurate to an idealized version of the original studio models. I did realize that I haven't completed a shaded profile in ages and since I have Photoshop now, I need to get used to it and incorporate it into my profiles. As a result, I'm revisiting one of the things that got me into doing these types of drawings in the first place, the Vipers from the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica. Between shading and weathering and learning how to do it in Photoshop, the Viper Mk II is a good practice section before I attempt the much more complicated Y-Wing. I'm also doing graphics to go into the profile as well, beyond just the Primus squadron badge for the nose. This patch, the one worn by all Viper pilots on their shoulder, is one of them.

I actually do own one of these myself, as a souvenir I bought from Universal Studios Singapore. :3

Now if only I can buy one of those Colonial service uniforms just like what the Galactica employees there are wearing. xD
